Training & Courses

We offer a range of training courses to our employees so that they can develop professionally and benefit from working with us.

We provide every new advisor with training set out by the Samaritan Foundation. This training is essential in preparing our advisors so that they can provide the best possible advice and support to the people we help.

Training includes:

  • How to identify a vulnerable person
  • Types of vulnerability and how we can adapt our service to help these customers
  • Providing FCA approved financial advice and support
  • General customer service and support skills

Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM)

We offer every employee the opportunity to undertake an industry recognised Charted Institute of Credit Management qualification. The course focuses on six key areas of the credit and personal finance industry and when completed, will provide the individual with a university degree level diploma.


We want every person who works with us to feel respected and happy when they come to work. This is why we operate a 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme in partnership with Health Assured which is available to every employee. The Programme provides advice and support on anything from work related stress to fitness tips and emotional support.
